Certified Hand Therapist- Per Diem- St Mary Medical Center
**Employment Type:** Part time **Shift:** **Description:** Seeking therapist with knowledge in splinting and post surgical hand, wrist and elbow surgeries for support to hand surgeon. Position will be PRN with possible opportunity to increase to part time as volume grows. CHT preferred. + Develops a comprehensive plan of care and provides treatment with appropriate and effective techniques to achieve established goals with an emphasis on functional status + Provides supervision for Occupational Therapy Assistants, P.M & R. technicians, students and volunteers as required. + In collaboration with leadership identifies marketing opportunities and identifies changes in referral patterns that will negatively or positively impact volumes. + Adheres to the Code of Ethics of the American Occupational Therapy Association and the Practice Act of the Commonwealth of PA.Maintains safe/orderly working environment for patients and staff. + Interprets and utilizes clinical data in the treatment plan. + Assumes accountability for managing the delivery of patient care. + Completes all documentation according to departmental policy and regulatory standards. + Prioritizes and organizes work assignment and adjust priorities based on changing situations. + Computes and compiles necessary charge information consistent with departmental policy. + Abides by all hospital and departmental policies and procedures. + Follows hospital and departmental infection control policies and procedures when carrying out responsibilities. + Acts as a patient advocate and uphold patients’ rights + Assumes additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Lead/ Manager. **Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion** Trinity Health is one of the largest not-for-profit, Catholic healthcare systems in the nation.
