Identifies, analyzes and reconciles billing errors or omissions, this includes reviewing and posting of Professional Charge. Responsibilities: + Posts all charge batches received each day that do not require additional follow-up with the providers. + Returns incomplete charge to department for correction. + Assist as needed in reconciliation of all charges, daily, and weekly as required. + Assist with the monitoring of practice charge submission status to ensure timely posting of charges. + Processes Mobile charges and post to system once reviewed for completeness. + Maintains patient confidentiality by adhering to all HIPAA guidelines. + Display positive attitude and constructively contribute to the billing team. + Perform other tasks as assigned. Qualifications/Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional billing experience, preferred. Education: High School diploma or equivalent, required. College degree, preferred.
