Child Support Investigator

In addition, DPHHS is the largest state agency with a wide range of advancement opportunities whether you are joining the workforce or have several years of experience. *Qualifications for this Career Opportunity*** * Knowledge of investigative principles, due process, administrative and judicial process. * Knowledge of mediation and dispute resolution principles. * Knowledge of general collections principles and social service programs. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to perform basic math calculations. * Ability to analyze information, make decisions and solve problems. * Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work. * Ability to operate a personal computer and general office equipment as necessary to complete the essential functions, including using spreadsheet, word processing, database, email, internet, and other computer programs. * Meet minimum qualifications: o Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, business administration, public administration, social work, psychology, or related field. o Three years job related experience, child support, general investigative or relevant collections experience. o Other combinations of directly related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis. * * *How to Apply*** To be considered for a DPHHS position, submit the following required documents with your application on the State of Montana Careers website.
