We have an exciting opportunity for a Cleaning Mechanical Technician II to join our team
This is a CBA position with Amentum.
The Cleaning Mech/Tech II will\:
Disassemble, clean, and reassemble components and assemblies for the purpose of cleaning contamination to a specified cleaning standard, requirement, or per instruction. Work may be performed under direct supervision or in coordination with another technician for complex tasks or may be performed independently for common work. Maintain and operate under clean room standards. Log data for work performed and provide reports or data to customers. Bag and tag items to maintain cleanliness and tracking of flight and non-flight purposes. Train less experienced technicians and verify work as required. Prioritize tasks with supervisor or lead technician. Maintain cleaning equipment, order consumables, and assist with lab inventory. Receive and ship customer items; interface with quality inspectors as required. Handling of NASA flight hardware. Maintaining simple inventories. Ability to complete purchase requests for materials/consumables. Knowledge of NASA and JSC cleaning specifications, cleaning processes, and quality control procedures.
