The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning and housekeeping services at our Defence site in Richmond, NSW. In this full-time position, you will lead a team of staff, manage daily operations, ensure compliance with contract requirements, and uphold high standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Compliance
Prepare and manage cleaning rosters in line with service delivery and budget expectations Conduct daily pre-start meetings and weekly toolbox talks to ensure effective communication Carry out a minimum of 20 service inspections and 4 specialist inspections each week Monitor stock levels and handle ordering to ensure readiness and efficiency Ensure WHS incidents are reported within required timeframes Maintain accurate records, manage passes, and submit monthly compliance reportsLeadership & People Management
Lead, motivate, and support the cleaning and housekeeping team Process timesheets and manage staff leave and absenteeism Ensure all staff are adequately trained and follow BGIS safety and service procedures Promote a positive, values-driven team cultureCustomer & Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the main point of contact for all cleaning operations on-site Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders Address and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally Represent BGIS in meetings and provide required reportingWhat We’re Looking For:
Qualifications & Experience
Demonstrated experience supervising cleaning teams in a facilities or property setting Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience conducting inspections, audits, and compliance reporting Familiarity with WHS procedures and staff management Previous experience with large-scale contract management is highly regardedKey Attributes
