Client Services Associate
Description We are looking for a highly motivated Client Services Associate to join our team in Wilmington, Delaware. In this Contract-to-permanent role, you will provide essential support to financial advisors and clients, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service delivery. This position offers an opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment while contributing to meaningful outcomes for both clients and the organization. Responsibilities: • Serve as the primary point of contact for client service inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses. • Manage and coordinate calendars for financial advisors, including scheduling client meetings and other appointments. • Prepare necessary documentation, reports, and proposals for client meetings, ensuring all materials are complete and accurate. • Process client paperwork, transactions, and follow-up tasks with precision and attention to detail. • Handle trades and money movement transactions while ensuring compliance with firm and regulatory standards. • Maintain thorough records of client interactions, transactions, and inquiries while identifying opportunities for process improvement. • Collaborate with financial advisors and the marketing team to support business development initiatives. • Stay updated on products, technology, and industry regulations, anticipating potential challenges and addressing them proactively. • Develop and implement efficient systems and processes to enhance team productivity and service quality. • Provide training and guidance to team members on financial planning tools and software to ensure consistent utilization. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in client services or a related field. • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to quickly learn other software tools. • Familiarity with financial planning software such as Naviplan, Money Guide Pro, eMoney, Morningstar, Tamarac, or similar platforms. • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills. • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. • Series 7 and 66 registrations are a plus, but not required.
