Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience **Position Highlights** **Be a part of the team at Scotland Medical Clinic Avera in our Clinic Nursing Department!** Scotland Medical Cinic Avera has a position open working 32 hours per week in our Family Medicine Clinic for a License Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA). **LPN or MA Responsibilities:** + Under direct supervision of the provider, assist in patient care. Obtain vital signs, blood pressures, height and weights and record information. + Maintains and views patient records, chart, and other pertinent information to include but not limited to work up new patient charts, chart visits, and/or all necessary information and drugs prescribed, review all labs, hospital and other reports. + Refills medications at the providers discretion. + This position is four days a week 9:00am-5:00pm with every 4th Saturday from 830am-12pm. **License Requirements:** + Valid SD nursing license for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) + Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) + Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) – American Medical Technologists (AMT) At Avera, the way you are treated as an employee translates into the compassionate care you deliver to patients and team members.
