Participates in education related to system-wide activities and clinical programs throughout Kaleida Health. Consults and makes recommendations related to educational needs, competencies, and activities to other departments.** **Education And Credentials** Current NYS registration as a Registered Professional Nurse and American Heart Association-Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire and must be maintained thereafter. RNs, hired prior to 7/1/2017, have until January 6, 2020 to obtain American Heart Association-BLS certification which must be maintained thereafter. Existing WCHOB RNs must acquire BLS certification as part of the training and orientation to OCH. Masters degree in Nursing or Education required. **Experience** **A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the clinical area(s) related to the position (Maternity) required.
