Job Description
As a Clinical Research Coordinator, you will oversee the day-to-day activities of clinical trials in accordance with Good Clinical Research Practice (GCP). You will interact with co-workers, visitors, and other staff in a manner that aligns with our values. Your role will involve training and supervising research staff on the proper procedures for conducting clinical trials per GCP, and you will be responsible for submitting all materials to the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and other regulatory bodies as required by the protocol, ensuring compliance in a timely fashion.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate subject log and track expenses.Submit appropriate documentation to Grant Administrator monthly for payment due for visits on all studies.Perform regular quality control assessments to ensure clinical trial data collection and storage per GCP.Organize and maintain documentation of all patient data.Design electronic capture databases, if appropriate, and manage all collected data.Provide clerical and technical support to ensure adherence to research protocols and quality of information received.Essential SkillsProficiency in clinical research practices.Ability to conduct chart reviews and pre-screen patients.Experience in cardiovascular research.Knowledge of GCP and patient recruitment.Familiarity with electronic data capture (EDC) systems.Understanding of medical terminologies and procedures.Additional Skills & QualificationsMinimum High School Diploma or equivalent.Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree preferred.High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years of clinical research experience and SOCRA certification required, OR Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of clinical research experience.Experience in clinical research with a minimum of 1 year required.Work Environment
You will work in a combination of office and hospital/outpatient surgery settings. The environment is fast-paced with a high volume workload involving industry and investigator studies. This is a hybrid position requiring on-site presence about 3 days a week. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
