\nJob Summary
\nThe Supervisor of Clinical Services coordinates activities of assigned clinical employees. Works with the manager to ensure the practice meets standards. Provides daily leadership and supervision of clinical employees and programs. Responsibilities include various supervisory and coordination tasks in site clinical services.
\nServes the 3 clinics with CMA’s reporting directly for payroll, monthly rounding, and regular daily communication with the operations manager. Demonstrate clinical leadership to inform on BSWH workflow changes, teach and arrange orientation for new hires, participate in recruitment, retention and counseling, monitor compliance: HIPAA, CLIA, Lab procedures, medication administration and show hands-on support on occasion. Foster cooperation and positive culture among all team members.

\nThe location is on the campus of the BSW Surgical Hospital Las Colinas, accessible from LBJ Freeway (IH635), MacArthur Blvd, Irving, and the Bush Freeway-Hwy 161. The three clinics are Family Medicine Las Colinas (3 providers), Internal Medicine Las Colinas (7 providers) and Pediatrics las Colinas (4 providers). All are on the second floor, Plaza I, same office building, with surface parking accessible to everyone in Irving, Texas.
\n\nEssential Functions of the Role
\n\nSupervises daily activities of clinical staff to ensure efficient operations. This includes ordering supplies for the clinical area and handling duties of Medical Staff as needed.\nOrganizes work in an efficient and cost-effective manner, ensuring continuity of service.\nWork includes preparing and helping with patient exams, preparing treatment rooms, collecting medical data, and inputting information for medical records. It also involves routine patient testing and administering routine medications, injections, and vaccinations.\nEnsures employees follow behavior standards, corporate policies, and patient satisfaction standards for internal and external customers.\nOversees compliance, training and maintaining applicable license and certifications.\nServes as clinical onsite contact for Physicians, Administration and Staff.\nBuilds teamwork and maintains effective communication with direct reports, peers, other various departments and administration.\nPartners with leadership and necessary departments to investigate, resolve, and document resolution of patient complaints concerning services provided by practice.\nImplements plans with clinic leadership as they apply to the clinic staff supervised.\nWorks with next level leadership to implement changes consistent with clinic operational plans.\nRoutinely provides reports on operational metrics and explains variances against plan.\nOversees activities including interviewing, making hiring recommendations, orienting, evaluating, coaching, team building activities, and if necessary, assisting with disciplinary actions.\nMaintains safety of patients, family members, staff and self during all activities.\n\nKey Success Factors
