Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time clinician for their CARES School located in Fitchburg, MA. The CARES School is a therapeutic day school that serves individuals age 6 through 21 who carry diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Intellectual Disability. The clinician is responsible for the completion of Functional Behavior Assessments, Behavior Support Plans, task analyses, discrete trial instruction, individual and group intervention, risk assessment, consultation to the multi-disciplinary team, and positively interfaces with school districts and other external agencies. The primary clinical treatment model for this program is an Autism-specific model of Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (A-PBIS) embedded within a trauma-informed care milieu. The average caseload for this clinical position is 10-12 students.
The ideal candidate will have training and experience in Applied Behavior Analysis, completing FBA’s and BSP’s, discrete trial instruction, writing task analyses, and facilitating social skills and activities of daily living groups. Devereux provides the Clinician with access to ongoing training and support in these areas and the clinician would report directly to the agency BCBA.
