Parsons KAFD is looking for an amazingly talented Commercial Manager to join our team!
In this role, you will join a leading professional engineering, construction, and cost management team working on multiple projects in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD). KAFD is a master plan development positioned to become Riyadh’s new Central Business District that combines a mixture of world-class commercial offices, hotels, retail spaces, contemporary residences, and a monorail in addition to smart city solutions that redefine urban living. You will have senior responsibility for Parsons’s commercial function for SAPL. Responsible and accountable for ensuring that all work is in full coordination with the Client and SAPL Contract. Provide direction for commercial matters, so this position is accountable for the development of strategy and execution of commercial and procurement management, reporting to the Commercial Director.
What You'll Be Doing:
Implement the commercial and procurement management strategy and plans.Implement standard operating procedures for the commercial management aspects of the program and ensure that the team follows them to ensure operational consistency across the program.Provides outreach oversight and coaches and guides the commercial management specialists in the day-to-day performance of the work scope.Facilitates forming partnerships with key stakeholders and organizations impacted by the program.Responsible for internal commercial management among our team (including subcontractors).Responsible for external commercial management, including all major contracts.Responsible for working closely with clients and others to ensure the best program commercial and procurement management decisions.Reports commercial management challenges and issues to the Project Director and develops appropriate resolutions/mitigations as necessary.Assigns work to employees and tracks the completion of work assignments.Interviews and selects personnel for assignment as required. Maintains clear and concise work standards and goals; provides training and development; completes performance evaluations; conducts employee counseling; takes corrective action, as necessary.Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics, and safety standards, policies, and procedures.Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.What Required Skills You'll Bring?
Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or a related field, and typically 12+ years of prime contract administration experience within a large international engineering and construction firm is required.
