ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
In conjunction with the management team, develop an annual community engagement and outreach plan related to new and current programs; monitor its implementation Create and maintain detailed database/profiles for donors, partners, customers, service recipients, interpreters and other stakeholders Manage and update all social media and web-based tools, including but not limited to Facebook, and website. Coordinate the development of a quarterly newsletter to highlight Headway’s services. In conjunction with the Director, conducts outreach and marketing activities to new and existing. Individuals and agencies. Conduct regional outreach to community stakeholders including community, service providers, families of consumers, community and civic organizations, elected officials, media and partner agencies, to promote our services, develop new services, and increase donor support. Coordinate Headway’s involvement in trade shows, career fairs, and other tabling events. Onboard and coordinate volunteers and Friends of Headway. Work with People Inc. staff to ensure collaborative approach on all outreach, engagement and marketing activities. Keep all marketing materials up to date and available to staff. Provide Navigation of resources to individuals and families seeking best service options for themselves and families. Help facilitate Headway Support groups The position requires understanding of all Headway programs and see themselves as part of a team, take part in office tracking and filing systems. Possess the ability to communicate with individuals and families who may be experiencing stress. Create and deliver workshops or facilitate other staff workshops as requested from community groups/organizations. Complies with all agency policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent and a minimum one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
