ADP is hiring a Compliance Director in Alpharetta, GA.
Do you have experience in developing, implementing, and overseeing compliance programs? Does the idea of identifying, assessing, and mitigating compliance risks and setting internal controls for your business sound exciting? Do you have a knack for driving continuous improvement?In this role, you will:
Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance program that addresses relevant federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and industry best practices for the PEO. Establish and maintain effective policies, procedures, and internal controls to prevent and detect compliance violations. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and develop mitigation strategies. Oversee and manage internal investigations of potential compliance violations, ensuring thoroughness and impartiality. Serve as a point of contact for regulatory agencies and manage regulatory inquiries and audits. Monitor changes in laws and regulations and update compliance programs accordingly. Collaborate with various departments to integrate compliance requirements into business processes. Prepare and present regular reports on the status of compliance initiatives to senior management and the board of directors. Foster a culture of ethics and compliance throughout the organization, promoting awareness and understanding of compliance obligations. Manage and mentor compliance staff.
In your typical day, you will:
Review industry updates, changes, and alerts for applicable news. Check on the progress of ongoing compliance initiatives your team is involved in and provide oversight and guidance as needed. Analyze data and reporting to determine if key compliance metrics are being met and to identify trends, potential risks, and areas that may need attention. Assist in responding to questions from teams across the business unit regarding compliance issues, collaborate with leaders across various departments (accounting, legal, finance, HR, training, etc.) to ensure we collaborate on compliance procedures and issues. Advise leadership on pressing compliance matters, including the status of ongoing concerns and potential steps needed to holistically address issues. Leverage your project management and leadership expertise to further establish your team's daily activities, coaching and their professional development, creating an overall productive and enjoyable working environment for your team.
