Overview Reporting to the Director of Consumer Insights, this position is accountable for being the voice of the consumer through primary research and advanced analytics in support of the marketing function. The successful candidate will have responsibility for the total Hydration portfolio, including brands like Gatorade, bubly, & Montellier. As a change leader, influencer, and strong strategic partner, you will be responsible for creating and executing the Hydration portfolio/brands’ consumer learning agenda. Working directly and collaboratively with a brilliant & fun PepsiCo Marketing group of stakeholders, in pursuit of actionable insights that will define growth opportunities and shape business strategy. Combining analytics from syndicated data sources and storytelling to inform consumption trends, changing demand, comms effectiveness and media ROI. Design and execute quantitative and qualitative custom research, such as online surveys, focus groups or ethnographies, to uncover hidden insights. Deeply understand consumer behaviour, drivers of choice, consumption habits, and consumer targets. Find compelling insights to inspire and inform brand communications, innovation, pricing strategies, media buy and a lot more. Ownership of campaign analytics, post games, and ROI analytics. Lead insights for Hydration brands Business Review, as well as for other business planning cycles including Strategy and Annual Operating Plan. Synthesize and report on tracking data and Nielsen Homescan data in a way that will influence the Marketing teams to create strategies and tactics that drive growth. Foster on-going relationships with key research suppliers and cross-functional partners. Connect with key US/Global counterparts, identify and adapt best practices for Canada. Present research findings, implications, and recommendations to senior internal stakeholders. Qualifications Minimum of bachelor’s degree (Business/Economics/Social Sciences degree preferred) 12+ years of experience in a Consumer Insights/Analytics function Demonstrated experience with market research methodologies, design of custom quantitative research and data analytics Demonstrated experience with qualitative research such as focus groups and ethnographies Strong ability to pull disparate pieces of data together for a cohesive and insightful consumer story Strategic thinker who can provide thought leadership to the business Excellent critical thinking abilities, driving insights into action and enabling change Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders and influence at all levels Genuine curiosity for the consumer and a desire to delight the consumer at the core of everything we do Strong presentation and storytelling skills Experience with Nielsen data an asset Why work at PepsiCo At PepsiCo, you’re invited to be a part of a global team of innovators who make, move,and sell these products—which are enjoyed by more than 1 billion people a day.
