The Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions Sales Operations team is responsible for providing contract management, bid/proposal and technology partnerships services to all business units within Defense Solutions.  We collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a balanced business risk approach that protects the interests of the businesses and aligns with Curtiss-Wright’s growth strategies.  We maintain a proactive approach in attaining business solutions. 

As a Summer Student Contracts Clerk, you will be tasked with supporting the Sales Operations team and all business units within the Defense Solutions division on various functions as described below.

Reporting directly to the Director of Contracts & Commercial Services, this position requires an organized, detail oriented individual capable of managing multiple tasks on an ongoing basis.

Location: Ottawa, ON

​Your Challenge:

Data entry into the Contracts SharePoint site

Support Small Business size classifications and System for Award Management registration confirmations

Draft Small Business plans using an established template

Assist with Strategic Plan actions

Complete various special projects which will be assigned and supervised by senior Sales Operations staff

What you Bring:

A High School diploma or equivalent, preferably with an associate’s degree

1-3 years related work experience

General communication and organization skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Knowledge of SharePoint would be an asset

Ability to interact effectively with members of a complex organization at multiple levels
