Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an intermediate Controls Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of control systems for custom material handling equipment. Working closely with senior engineers and team members, you will ensure that systems meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You will manage up to 15 projects simultaneously, each at different stages, and act as a liaison between mechanical and project engineers. This position offers a technically challenging environment with no two machines being the same, providing a wide variety of work. No Travel!
Responsibilities
+ Design and program PLC systems.
+ Develop and implement HMI interfaces.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
+ Participate in the testing and commissioning of control systems.
+ Maintain documentation for control systems and processes.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of experience in PLC programming, particularly Allen-Bradley or Siemens.
+ Proficiency in electrical schematic design.
+ Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and Solidworks.
+ Expertise in PLC and HMI programming.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to program from scratch with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
+ Experience in HMI programming.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
