**Job Overview** M Health Fairview is seeking a Cook for St. John's Hospital! This is a part time position that offers 64 hours per a 2-week pay period and is benefit eligible! Pay starts at $21.27 an hr. **Summary:** Prepares and serves hot and cold foods for all customers using standardized recipes and accurate food handling techniques. **Schedule** **Week 1** Mon: 530am-2pm Tue: 7am-330pm Fri: 6am-230pm Sat: 530am-2pm Sun: 530am-2pm **Week 2** Wed: 6am-230pm Thu: 7am-330pm Fri: 530am-2pm **Responsibilities** + Maintains knowledge of, and follows, all relevant laws, regulations and policies, procedures and standards + Actively participates in crafting and implementing improvements to achieve clinical happiness and efficient outcomes + Prepares food per standardized recipes, production sheets and department service times + Ensures food is prepared per standardized recipes and production sheets to maintain quality standards + Practices accurate infection control methods, including proper hand washing, and personal hygiene + Checks food for accurate temperature, flavor and appearance to ensure customer happiness + May assist with ordering, receiving and storage of food and supplies **Qualifications** **Required Experience:** + 1-3 years of cook experience **Additional Requirements:** + Ability to communicate both verbally, and in writing, using English + Must be able to handle all foods, under all conditions. + Basic math skills. **Preferred Education:** + High School Diploma/G.E.D **Benefit Overview** Fairview offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, PTO/vacation and Safe and Sick Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement and more!
