Required Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) Three (3) years of experience delivering engagement or professional development activities Five (5) years of experience providing administrative support in a human resource setting Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related At least five (5) years’ working experience delivering engagement or professional development activities At least one (1) year’s working experience in a college or university setting related to the Essential Performance Requirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and shift priorities depending on business demands Ability to be collaborative and encourage collaboration Strong communications skills Ability to positively influence others Strong speaking and presenting skills Project management skills Ability to work independently and meet critical deadlines Demonstrated track record of collaboration, cooperation, and service across departments Ability to work nights and weekends, as needed Physical Demands and Work Environment Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representatives of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Position Information Job Title Coordinator II - Employee Engagement Posting Number P003755 Position Type Temporary Position Status Part Time Grant Funded No Grant Funding Source N/A Category APT Class Code 14 Starting Pay $32.20 Department DT Human Resources Job Summary Reporting to the Director of Employee Onboarding, this position is responsible for supporting employee engagement activities including but not limited to the employee onboarding and offboarding experience, ongoing employee engagement, recognition, retention, and wellness initiatives. The incumbent will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to drive measurable success across all engagement initiatives. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Essential Performance Requirements* Works closely with the Talent Acquisition team to coordinate a seamless transition from the offer stage to employee orientation Facilitates training online and in-person that supports Employee Engagement initiatives Assists with the development of employee orientation curriculum, ensuring our offerings are always aligned with the College values and best practices Collaborates with the Employee Engagement team to complete employee engagement projects and programs to foster a high-performance culture Organizes a college-wide calendar and produces events that provide meaningful experiences for employees to connect Supports programs and initiatives that focus on promoting wellness, employee appreciation, and recognition Assists the Director of Employee Engagement in implementing tools and processes to capture the voice of the employee by leveraging all forms of data collection across the employee lifecycle to create employee-focused strategies, programs, and processes Builds strong working relationships across key stakeholder groups and frontline employees and supervisorsService Excellence Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC) Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College
