•    Be an essential member of GVR’s legal and compliance team. 
•    Draft, review, and negotiate a range of agreements, including review of tenders released by the oil marketing companies and providing deviations, CAMC and service level agreements, product and service contracts, confidentiality agreements, master services agreements, among others for GVR’s internal departments and business teams.
•    Provide commercial advice regarding compliance requirements, business risks, and other geographical-based considerations for GVR.
•    Work collaboratively with compliance and business leaders across GVR to develop policies, procedures, and controls, to manage and mitigate anti-bribery and anti-corruption risk.

•    Assist with managing workflows, including diligence requirements, while recognizing business priorities, to ultimately advance enterprise goals and values.
•    Assist with further development of RFP, bid process, policies, forms, and similar documents.
•    Perform legal research in relation to new or newly applicable legislation and on more specific points of law in the applicable region, as needed.
•    Provide training to stakeholders on applicable legal and compliance issues.
•    Litigation management along with external counsels.

•    Implement and champion our enhanced third-party business integrity program, including both simple and complex third-party screening, evaluating, and analyzing diligence reports, conducting research, assessing, and escalating “red flag” reports, implementing control measures and training, and ongoing monitoring.

•    Assist with internal investigations to gather information (e.g., witnesses, electronic data, physical evidence) to assess the validity of allegations reported by employees and third parties and preparing written reports of findings, including countermeasures.

•    Qualified Lawyer with at least 7-12 years of experience – from a reputed law school in India. 
•    Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret complex business documents. 
•    Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues. 
•    Ability to work with senior management and be a trusted advisor.
•    Strong organization, negotiation, communication, and drafting/writing skills.
•    Strategic mindset and problem-solving skills.
•    Must be capable of operating in tandem with colleagues in a highly collaborative fashion and execute assigned tasks with precision, thoughtfulness and attention to detail.
•    Ability to work independently, efficiently, and creatively in a fast-paced environment
•    Ability to manage confidential, sensitive information.
•    Law firm training and in-house experience with a global company, a plus
