Corporate Facilities Project Manager

Job Summary: 

The Facilities Project Manager Supports the Corporate Facilities team with simple repairs, building maintenance, and commonly occurring maintenance issues including electrical, plumbing and HVAC. The role will also be responsible for structural components, performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues and responding to emergency repairs to ensure the facility operates smoothly and safely. This position will work closely with EHS to resolve reported safety issues and findings to promote improvements in the facility.

Working Arrangement:

This position has been designated as On-Site in Davidson NC. 
 
Responsibilities: 

       Provide support with environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance and continuously improve performance        Assist with preventive maintenance, inspections on building equipment, safety audits and inspections.        Attend EHS trainings        Maintain safe working practices and follow company safety policies and procedures        Performing regular inspections on building systems, plumbing fixtures, electrical panels, fire alarms, and fire pump automatic doors and reporting findings to the Facilities Manager       Maintaining records and preparing reports on maintenance activities.       Monitor facility for possible safety violations, health concerns and environmental compliance        Contacting and managing outside contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance services       Primary back up for Mailroom Activities.        Primary Facilities Procurement role for Office Supply orders.        Manage all crowd comfort work orders to closure.       Manage facilitating conference and event set ups.       Perform Bi-Weekly Janitorial Inspections and balanced scorecard document with Janitorial Vendor (Budd Group)       Manage repairs for the Campus Cafeteria Vendor.       Assist other departments as needed        Manage Corporate Facilities Projects: Ongoing maintenance and trouble shooting       Manages complex projects or a phase of a large project to ensure the completion of milestones within budget. Allocates resources and assigns tasks to ensure objectives are met.Tracks performance and progress of project against projected timeline.      Ongoing Maintenance and Trouble Shooting of EV Chargers      Work with onsite HVAC Tech on A/C renovation coordination

Key Competencies: 

       Able to prioritize and work independently with minimal oversight.        Collaborates with external partners including third party suppliers, sub-contractors and customers. Shares information and supports other team members        Resolves unique problems that could occur during the project to minimize delays.       Able to spot and implement opportunities for improving situations        Able to take on a diverse range of tasks effectively        Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical and building construction. 

Requirements: 

Minimum 3 years of experience in facility maintenance.Ability to work at elevated heights requiring fall protection.Able to bend, carry, climb, lift, push, pull.Ability to operate powered industrial equipment (I.e., forklifts, floor machines, etc.)Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions Able to work flexible hours including on call shifts and emergencies.

 

Compensation: 

Base Pay: $72,000- $148,000
