OverviewThe Credit Portfolio Risk Managmentr in Senior Credit Supervision is responsible for conducting post-closing reviews of Commercial credits to ensure compliance of regulatory reporting standards and internal loan classification requirements. This position will also support the Portfolio Risk Manager in various ongoing risk management activities, such as ensuring credit requests are approved by the proper authorities, preparing periodic reports and coordinating communication with regulators and counterparties.

Responsibilities Conduct quality control reviews of Credit Approval Reports for new, renewed, and modified loans to ensure accurate regulatory and internal reporting, including Fed Call Codes, real estate collateral classifications (e.g., Abundance of Caution, Real Estate Investment, owner occupied vs. non-owner occupied), NAICS, Foreign Exposure, and Collateral Codes.Validate regulatory designations and internal risk indicators such as Shared National Credit (SNC), Leveraged Lending, Higher Risk C&I, and HVCRE classifications.Collaborate with Accounting, Loan Administration, Senior Credit Supervision, Business Units, Data Management and Integration, and Reporting to ensure data accuracy and enhance portfolio risk management processes.Calculate borrowing bases and authorize advances for formula-based lending (FBL) portfolios.Maintain and administer risk management systems (CRM/CCR, FRCE, CASH Insight, CRE module).Manage credit and operating authority matricesDevelops and implements action plans to improve credit risk management efficiency and effectiveness, which includes policy, governance, people, processes, and system enhancements.Support internal/external audits and regulatory exams.Create management reports and document procedures.Other job functions as assigned by Manager (duties that occur infrequently or on an inconsistent basis but are still important, e.g. projects related to data accuracy and accurate compliance requirements and/or projects related to portfolio risk management) Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.Relevant certifications such as Credit Risk Certification (CRC) or Financial Planning & Management (FPM) are a plus.Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit risk, commercial lending, or loan review.Prior project management experience preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet time-sensitive deadlines.Familiarity with financial spreading tools and risk management systems is a plus.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Effective time management and prioritization in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Adaptable, proactive, and resourceful, with a high level of integrity and discretion.Able to remain calm under pressure and adjust methods to fit changing circumstances.
