Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer/Help Desk to join our team in Fort Belvoir, VA to support a military customer. The role involves developing and managing licensing and software experiences for classified environments, ensuring all software, devices, and products function correctly online.
ResponsibilitiesConduct panel interviews to assess potential candidates.Develop and manage licensing and software experiences for classified environments.Ensure software, devices, and products function correctly on the internet.Track requests from initiation to completion using JIRA, with ServiceNow as a backup.Provide white glove service to customers.Maintain data tracking on a weekly and monthly basis for closing out tickets.Engage in hands-on and friendly culture with weekly one-on-one meetings and quarterly gatherings.Support one contract with regular meetings and celebrations.Participate in soft skill trainings, including public speaking.Essential SkillsProficiency in JIRA for data tracking.Understanding of licensing support (Cisco or competitors).Help desk experience with a customer-focused attitude.Experience with ticketing systems.Knowledge of routers, switches, networking, and licensing.Additional Skills & QualificationsBA/BS degree preferred.Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 support experience (60%, 30%, 10% breakdown).2-5 years of experience preferredRelevant military experience will be considered.Salesforce or ServiceNow background for tracking and documentation.DevOps, scripting, or programming experience is beneficial, but not required.Work Environment
This position is onsite in Fort Belvoir, VA, located south of DC/Alexandria, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
