**Posting Specifics:**
+ Flat Rate: $80.00 hourly
+ Shift Details: Variable
+ Hours: Full-Time (36 Hours)
+ Benefit Eligible: No
Internal Travel Program (https://intermountainhealthcare.org/careers/) is part of Intermountain Health; a nonprofit healthcare organization that focuses on person-centered care. Caregivers who join our Travel Program enjoy assignments at locations throughout the Western Slope of Colorado, Denver Metro and Montana areas. All travel assignments are on 14-week rotations.
Housing Reimbursement: If working 50 miles or greater from your home, housing reimbursable amounts are determined by the assigned site location and receipts are required to be submitted within 30 days of transaction date.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Maintains American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions.
+ Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam.
+ Performs exams per department protocol and reviews images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
+ Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment.
+ Completes studies within acceptable time limits without compromising patient care or quality.
+ Assists and instructs students and other CT Techs in exam protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment.
+ Provides appropriate patient education, ensures patient comfort, and addresses concerns.
+ Practices appropriate infection control and sterile techniques.
**Minimum Qualification:**
+ American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Computed Tomography Certification/Registration (ARRT)(RT)(CT), required
+ One (1) year CT experience preferred in a hospital or ED setting
+ Ability to obtain Radiologic Technology License with Montana Board of Radiologic Technologists
+ Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
+ IV Certification, preferred

**Physical Requirements:**
The CT Tech performs a variety of CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. This position uses ingenuity, iniative, and independent judgement to perform high quality scans.
