Description:This position is for a Cyber Software Engineer working for Lockheed Martin Enterprise Business & Digital Transformation (EBDT), Corporate Information Security (CIS) – Application Security, Automation, and Protection (ASAP) Team.

The ASAP Team is a small, highly technical team focused on application security. ASAP is responsible for enabling security in Lockheed Martin’s various software delivery pipelines as well as providing development and scanning services for CIS’s Attack Surface Monitoring and Reduction team and across Lockheed.

As a Cyber Software Engineer on the ASAP Team you will:
• Contribute to solving complex problems with innovative, software-based solutions.
• Identify opportunities for automation and work with the ASAP Product Owner to get stories into the team backlog.
• Learn about various toolsets and methodologies that contribute to secure coding
• Review and respond to customer questions submitted to ASAP’s Microsoft Teams Channel

Effective verbal and written communication skills and management of priorities and deliverables plus the ability to work within a team environment are expected. Heavy collaboration and consulting with numerous business area/business unit representatives, adherence to the highest standards of ethics and professional conduct in addition to the ability to work flexible hours are expected.
Basic Qualifications:
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication to both management and technical staff
• Demonstrate Team Player attributes
• Demonstrate strong and effective Customer Care skills
• Experience developing in Node.js, Python or PowerShell
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools (Gitlab, TFS, Jenkins)
• Experience with Static Application Security Testing (SAST) tools
• Experience with Software Composition Analysis (SCA) tools
• Secure Software Development
• Cloud Computing Experience (Azure, AWS)
• Certification credentials (CISSP, CISM, CEH, GIAC, Security+ or equivalent)
• Networking concepts like firewalls, proxies, and routers
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $91,700 - $158,815. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $79,700 - $140,530. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
