Our work depends on a Data Scientist Senior joining our team to work on Project Monologue, with a focus on delivering AI-powered virtual agent chatbots to Federal and State agencies.

HOW A DATA SCIENTIST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Accelerate product development by integrating advanced AI capabilities across our suiteModernize contact centers and service desks through enhanced self-service capabilitiesImplement generative AI (GenAI) with large language models (LLMs) and retrieval augmented generation (RAG) to deliver precise, data-driven responsesDevelop omni-channel functionality across voice and chat interfacesEnhance virtual agents through advanced features including classification and sentiment analysisBuild an agentic framework enabling service ticket management, account administration, and intelligent journey orchestration

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent years of experienceExperience as a data scientistExperience with generative AI (GenAI) using large language models (LLMs), RAG, and knowledge basesExpertise in AI/ML technologies on AWS, including Bedrock, Lambda, and SageMakerExperience in machine learning and statistical techniques and modeling with both quantitative and qualitative dataExperience with Python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and PyTorch/TensorFlowAbility to navigate ambiguity, solve problems, communicate effectively, and implement novel solutions in a dynamic fieldAbility to obtain a public trust

Experience fine-tuning LLMs for specific use casesHands-on experience with AI/ML tools in Google Vertex AI and Microsoft AzureBackground in NLP and conversational AI designExperience with agentic frameworks and orchestration systemsExperience in forecasting, anomaly detection, classification, and clusteringSkilled in data visualization using python and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or LookerExperience with data pipelines, ETL processes, and database managementExperience in government contractingExperience integrating AI solutions with legacy systems
