The Defence Head of Security & Resilience (UK-MEA) is responsible for the effective and consistent implementation, delivery, management and co-ordination of the security & resilience policy, controls and assurance activity across the Defence Business, UK-MEA, in accordance with the strategic direction established by VP of Corporate & Defence Security.

What you will be doing
As the Defence Head of Security & Resilience you will be responsible for setting and enforcing consistent Defence & Global Security & Resilience Team (GSART) policies across all UK-MEA facilities, or where Defence work is being conducted, in accordance with 'The FRAMEWORK' and customer regulations; including but not limited to, BC planning, data security, information security, physical security, personnel security and security in the supply chain.
You will also:
Provide line management of the Rolls-Royce Defence Bristol Security TeamDeliver and promote security education, training and awareness programmes which address employee behaviours, promoting a positive security culture throughout UKMEA.Support workplace and external investigations of incidents involving loss of, or damage to products, including in the supply chain, from / to Rolls-Royce sites throughout UK-MEA.Implement and monitor supply chain security assurance programme in accordance with all Security Aspects Letters.Implement and facilitate effective security risk management controls and mitigation for each Defence programme throughout UK-MEA.Act as the Security Controller for the UK Defence Business and manage personnel security, including security vetting, aftercare and insider threat programme.Represent the RR UK Defence Business at RR, Government, MoD and regulatory authority security meetings, contributing to the continuous development of security & resilience policies and practices.Assist with the implementation and enforcement of existing or creation of new Rolls-Royce Security & Resilience Policies, including Business Continuity processes for the Defence Business.Oversee security personnel and programs at Rolls-Royce facilities located in UK-MEAWho we’re looking for:

Skills/ Qualifications:
Educated to bachelor’s degree level or equivalent/ relevant security experience is required (minimum). At least 5 years relevant experience in a leadership role providing high level advice and risk-based solutions in a diverse range of disciplines.Minimum 10 years direct experience of managing security within strategic, classified, UK/US MoD programmes MOD formal security training and experience desirable Extensive incident management experience in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.Strong knowledge of resilience and risk management best practices, standards, and governance requirements. Experience with electronic and technical security is desirableMedium to High level physical condition with ability to move/ walk the area of large manufacturing facilities.
