Position Overview: The Dental Assistant will play a vital role in assisting our dental team with various clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. Schedule (days/hours) Tues 8:00am-5:00pm , Weds 7:00am-4:00pm , Thurs 7:00am-4:30pm , Fri 7:00am-2:00pm Responsibilities Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including exams, fillings, cleanings, and extractions Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, organizing materials, and maintaining a clean, safe environment Take accurate dental x-rays and assist with diagnostic procedures Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide post-treatment care instructions Maintain and update patient records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations Support the efficient flow of patients and manage appointment transitions smoothly Follow strict infection control and safety protocols in all clinical areas Deliver excellent patient care and ensure patient comfort throughout their visit Float to the front desk as needed.
