Description We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Los Angeles, California. This role involves providing technical support across various platforms and ensuring the smooth operation of desktop environments for end-users. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining hardware, software, and network systems within a dynamic financial services setting.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support for desktop systems, ensuring quick resolution of hardware and software issues.
• Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, applications, and hardware.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Android devices, Apple devices, and other mobile platforms.
• Manage and support network technologies, including Cisco and Citrix systems, to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize Active Directory to manage user accounts, permissions, and system configurations.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Dell hardware and backup technologies to minimize downtime.
• Ensure proper configuration management and documentation of all hardware and software assets.
• Collaborate with IT teams to identify and implement process improvements for desktop support.
• Provide end-user training and support to enhance productivity and technical proficiency.
• Monitor system backups and recovery processes to safeguard critical data. Requirements • Proven experience in desktop support or a related IT role.
• Expertise in managing and troubleshooting Android and Apple devices.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco and Citrix technologies, with hands-on experience.
• Familiarity with Dell hardware and backup technologies.
• Proficiency in using Active Directory for system administration tasks.
• Solid understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and configuration management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with end-users and technical teams.
