Desktop Support Analyst
Description We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. This is a Contract-to-permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment supporting a diverse user base across multiple facilities. Responsibilities: • Provide timely and effective troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues, including Level 2-3 support tickets. • Assist in deploying and configuring devices across various locations and ensuring smooth integration into the existing infrastructure. • Deliver outstanding customer service to a wide range of users, including plant personnel and office staff. • Maintain and manage Active Directory, ensuring seamless user access and permissions. • Utilize Microsoft SCCM for systems management, software deployment, and updates. • Collaborate on IT projects, such as hardware upgrades and software installations. • Monitor and maintain backup technologies to ensure data integrity and security. • Support the local area network (LAN) and troubleshoot connectivity issues as needed. • Manage and resolve service desk tickets efficiently, adhering to organizational standards. • Provide guidance and training to end-users to improve their understanding of IT systems and tools. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an IT support role, with a preference for candidates with 2+ years. • Proficient in troubleshooting computer hardware and operating systems. • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office 365 applications and related technologies. • Hands-on experience with Active Directory management and configuration. • Familiarity with LAN/WAN concepts and the ability to resolve network issues. • Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM for system and software management. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deliver superior customer service. • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and resolve issues independently.
