PURPOSE
This position is responsible for developing and supporting capabilities for merchandising applications.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and enhance merchandising and corporate facing applications.Responsible for the full software development lifecycle for projects, enhancements and fixes including design, development, unit testing, system testing and change managementManage user issues and ticketing system related to application problemsIntegrate new products and solutions into existing environment for continuous improvementDevelop advanced SQL statements and procedural code on multiple database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle). Tasks include querying data, manipulating data, generating reports, etc.Work with end users to define business requirements for new projects as well as supporting existing processes.Analyze data and solve new and existing business issues.Work concurrently on multiple projects and tasks across different business units.MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree (relevant experience can be substituted for the required education on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education)Three years of development experience required or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the companyLeadership skills to navigate project execution through all phases of the standard software development lifecycleExperience with one or more front-end technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, React, AngularProficient with one or more programming languages/protocols: Java, Spring Boot, Python, REST api.

PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS
Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
