System One is seeking a Diagnostics Technician for a large industrial manufacturing company in Tulsa, OK. The ideal candidate will have prior troubleshooting and diagnostics experience; this can include electrical or technical background. This role is responsible for assisting customers diagnose and repair their control panels.
As part of the Operations Control Support team, the Advanced Response Command Center (ARCC) Diagnostics Technician helps ensure safe, efficient, and continuous 24/7 operations by maintaining and enhancing the company's system across various customer applications. This role involves real-time support, system maintenance, and troubleshooting to improve overall operational performance.
Responsibilities Develop and modify system interfaces, including screens, database records, and communication routes to ensure seamless field data integration. Conduct lab testing and simulation to validate data points, troubleshoot system issues, and support system upgrades. Collaborate with field engineers and technicians to diagnose and resolve Remote Terminal Unit (RTU), flow computer, and equipment-related issues. Perform final testing using live data to verify proper configuration and deployment. Troubleshoot and restore SCADA functions for Operations Control, including restoring failed communications and resolving configuration issues. Utilize customer and ticket tracking tools to log and resolve technical issues. Follow established processes and procedures for handling new sales inquiries, updates, retrofits, service requests, and material returns. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance via multiple communication channels. Skills & Competencies Ability to work independently and follow standard procedures. Problem-solving and troubleshooting expertise. Capacity to work under pressure, tight deadlines, and frequent interruptions. On-call availability for 24/7 support as needed.
