The Director of Loyalty Strategy is accountable for performance and business impact of the MyBath&BodyWorks Loyalty program to driving profitable growth, customer brand attachment and Member love for Bath & Body Works. This position leads a team of Loyalty-facing strategists who own the program roadmap, business performance contributions and Member experience. Partnering with our platform provider and strategic resources at Bond Brand Loyalty, this leader improves our understanding of the loyalty space and champions with a growth mindset to keep the program fresh and compelling. The Loyalty leader also contributes to annual and seasonal brand campaigns and other business initiatives where Loyalty intersects with opportunity. This leader has a meaning meaningful role in moving customers up the brand engagement ladder, resulting in retention, spend, trip, cross-channel and cross-category shopping wins.
Responsibilities Lead and inspire a high-performing team to be customer-focused, innovative, creative, fast-moving and results oriented Lead development and accountability to progress for the Loyalty roadmap, inclusive of program P&L impacts, customer and associate impacts and sales contribution growth goals Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure seamless integration of loyalty strategies across marketing, product teams, IT, store operations, finance, merchandising, MP&A and other functions. Provide strategic guidance to key stakeholders on Member experience touch point opportunities & journeys to drive customer engagement and foster deeper brand connectivity and attachment. Define, track and report out on program performance and benchmarking through a clear and fact-based narrative; ensure key partners are brought along to drive continual education and awareness. Stay abreast of the broader loyalty landscape and industry trends to maintain a best-in-class program that profitably evolves and keeps pace with consumer expectations. Drive continual process enhancements to bring merchants more fully into a Loyalty-first headset that results in a stronger value proposition to the customer. Understand customer / Member behavior, CLTV, program engagement trends, etc., by partnering with analytics, integrated marketing & media, enterprise insights, and the digital & e-commerce teams Partner with marketing technology & finance on understanding / dissecting omni-attribution of full economic value of the program to the business. Qualifications 10+ years of leadership experience within retail, consumer products, or premier management consulting firms Track record of delivering accretive business contributions through advanced CRM / Loyalty value and P&L results by understanding business impacts and making data driven decisions Ability to “bring the customer to life” by linking customer / Member insights to strategic and financial plans Strong leadership competencies, including the ability to influence others, bring disparate teams together towards common goals, create a culture of collaboration and champion a growth mindset Exceptional ability to establish and maintain cross-functional relationships in a highly matrixed environment Proven skill in effecting change and ability to question the status quo through thoughtful creative inquiry at all levels of the organization Demonstrated leadership experience with ability to identify, develop and retain top talent; lead with inspiration, unquestionable values, integrity and trust Education Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business or related field preferredCore Competencies
