We have an outstanding career opportunity for aDirector of Salesto join a leading Company located in theManassas, VAsurrounding area.
As the Director of Sales, you will be a critical member of the executive leadership team with responsibility for sales setting strategy , obtaining overall sales revenue and growth goals. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will manage the sales team with 7 direct reports with current revenue of approximately $30 million with 300+ customers. With its headquarters in Manassas, Virginia, we are a commercial HVAC and plumbing company specializing in maintenance, repair services, and retrofit replacements across several industry segments. Limited travel may be required.
Responsibilities :
+ Directs and develops sales strategy, operational plans, tactics, and processes that will drive revenue growth and accomplish financial objectives.
+ Establishes and implements processes, tools, and structures to support the sales organization's operations.
+ Oversees goal setting to develop targets for departmental levels of the sales organization and uses data and technology to measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance.
+ Creates and implements capabilities to analyze the business environment, identify and understand competitors, and retain and expand the customer base.
+ Uses market and customer insights to collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and suggest new products.
+ Builds effective sales and support teams with recruiting, mentoring, and development programs.
+ May personally participate in or negotiate strategic or high-value sales.
Basic Hiring Criteria :
+ Minimum 15 years of Sales experience.
+ Minimum 5 years in Sales Leadership.
+ Successful experience managing and leading a sales team to achieve company objectives.
+ Experience developing and implementing a formal sales process utilizing key process indicators (KPI) and other measurement methods.
+ Experience with building and developing an effective sales team.
+ Skilled relationship builder with examples of deep relationships with executive leadership at key accounts.
+ Strong business acumen and demonstrated strategic leadership working on an executive leadership team.
Desired Qualifications :
+ Advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
+ Prior experience in HVAC and plumbing services is a plus but not required.
