We’re dedicated to making sure that every move is better than the last. **About the Role** We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Pricing Director with direct experience in Military Household Goods to join our HomeSafe team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling, data mining, financial reporting, and analysis, with the ability to provide actionable insights and support decision-making across the organization. This position plays a critical role in monitoring financial performance and supporting senior management with financial analysis to drive business strategy. The selected individual will be responsible for overseeing and developing analysis, pricing strategies and price proposals for our domestic and international business. The Pricing Director will be committed to close engagement with operations, capacity planning and other teams in support of this effort. Although HomeSafe Alliance is headquartered in Houston, this role has flexibility to be fully remote. The successful candidate can work from any location within the Continental United States. Position may require occasional travel in support of proposals, meetings, training, or other events. **Responsibilities** : The Pricing Directors duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following: + Oversees the development and presentation of price assumptions, financial summaries and risk assessment to senior leadership prior to proposal submission by team members. + Analyzing financial performance and making recommendations. This involves tracking the financial impact of pricing strategies and making adjustments to optimize revenue and profitability. + Developing and implementing pricing strategies. This involves setting prices for products or services, considering factors like cost, market demand, and competitive pricing. + Owns the Cost-Calculator and provides management with profitability analyses. + **ANNUAL BUDGETING & FORECASTING** – Supports the Company's annual budgeting, forecasting and variance reporting processes with focus on Revenue and Cost of Goods Sold. + **LONG-RANGE PLANNING** - Developing and maintaining long-range financial projection models in close alignment with other departments (e.g. FP&A, operations, capacity planning etc.). + **CONSOLIDATED BUDGETS/FORECASTS** - Overseeing the coordination and consolidation of all departments and division budgets and forecasts. + **FINANCIAL STATEMENT PROJECTIONS** - Preparing integrated financial statement projections with focus on revenue and cost of goods sold and related supporting schedules. + **MANAGEMENT PRESENTATIONS** - Developing presentations for the Senior Management to present communications from Management regarding the budget, Company financial performance and various as hoc special projects from time to time. + **SPECIAL PROJECTS** - Assisting with various special projects from time-to-time. + **MANAGERIAL & SUPERVISORY** - Currently one Senior Analyst reports to this position but depending on the direction and growth of the business unit, management may add additional resources for this function to assist with additional responsibilities. + **LEADERSHIP** - Leading effort to create more value added and efficient planning/re-forecasting process and fostering continuous teamwork across all functions in this regard. **Education and Experience:** + Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. + 9+ years directly related Military Household Goods experience with pricing, revenue management, financial analysis, and risk assessment. + Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems (Oracle, Costpoint, FCCS), and advanced Excel skills (working with VBA scripts etc.). + Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements. **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** : + Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and translate it into actionable insights. + Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. + Experience in the moving industry is a plus. + Ability to coach and mentor financial analyst(s) that will support this position. + Effective communicator, able to present complex financial data. + Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks. + Self-starter/proactive, expected to take initiative to research issues and provide solutions. + Experience in medium to large-sized operational finance environments. + High level of curiosity with a desire to drive continuous improvement. + Effective engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to gain the confidence and trust of the senior management. + Detail oriented and highly organized. + Ability to deliver under tight deliverable deadlines. + Highly organized, and drives projects to completion. **Note** : This position is fully remote / work from home.
