Description We are looking for a highly organized and adaptable Dispatcher to join our team on a contract basis in Portage, Michigan. In this role, you will play a key part in managing transportation schedules for healthcare participants, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This position requires strong communication skills, scheduling experience, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: • Coordinate and manage transportation schedules for healthcare participants, ensuring timely and efficient service. • Communicate effectively with team members and participants to address scheduling needs and resolve issues. • Utilize scheduling software and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint, to maintain accurate records. • Assist with onboarding and orientation processes for new team members, ensuring they are prepared to meet operational standards. • Monitor daily operations to ensure adherence to schedules and handle any necessary adjustments. • Collaborate with the Scheduling Coordinator to optimize workflows and improve efficiency. • Provide excellent customer service, answering inbound calls and addressing participant concerns with attention to detail. • Maintain compliance with all background checks, drug screenings, and vaccination requirements. • Support the transition to new systems and tools as needed to enhance scheduling processes. • Participate in team meetings, offering input and feedback to improve overall operations. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in scheduling or a related field. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in speaking during meetings. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and basic Excel. • Familiarity with scheduling software and CRM systems is preferred. • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members. • All candidates are required to complete necessary screenings and maintain up-to-date immunizations, including COVID-19 vaccination. • Healthcare or transportation experience is a plus.
