District Asset Protection Leader (Travel)

The District Asset Protection Leader (DAPL) implements asset protection objectives, and administers asset protection programs. The DAPL provides assistance and training to the field operations teams to address specific asset protection issues with an assigned span of control. The DAPL drives results by forging strong business relationships and working in a team environment to service internal and external customers. The DAPL reports to the Regional Asset Protection Manager who reports to the Divisional Asset Protection Director.  The DAPL is aligned with the District Leaders(s) from the field Operations team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Executes company asset protection and shrink reduction strategies to protect assets from loss due to internal/external theft and operational compliance issuesOwns partnership and alignment of District Leaders and Store Managers to integrate Asset Protection priorities in span of controlWorks with field operations to define accountability and what must be done to achieve the desired resultsCommunicates with field operations teams to provide feedback on execution of asset protection strategies in span of controlConducts timely, ethical, and professional investigations of all potential front store and pharmacy internal theft incidentsCompletes Asset Protection health assessments and leverages field tools to identify shrink risk and operational compliance opportunities in assigned storesAssists Store managers in the development of effective action plans and ensures timely follow up to validate execution is achievedAttains budgeted results for shrink and P&L performance in assigned span of controlValidates execution of Asset Protection Coordinator program in assigned span of control (if applicable)Maintains professional liaison with all local law enforcement officials to ensure appropriate coordination of investigations and/or prosecutions.

Required Qualifications

5 years of experience in retail store manager/asset protection/loss prevention management2 years of experience with multiple store responsibility80% travel required (NYC, Long Island)

Preferred Qualifications

BA/BS in Criminal Justice, Business Management or Accounting or equivalent experienceExcellent communication skillsWord and Excel knowledge is requiredKnowledge of conducting legal and ethical investigationsAbility to build strong business relationships with all levels of an organizationAbility to function in a team environment. Give as well as accept constructive criticism

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
