**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Division Pharmacy Manager of 340B Program, is responsible for leading the day to day operations of the 340B program. This includes leading the team of pharmacy analysts in adhering to the division 340B policies and standard operating procedures regarding compliant medication procurement and inventory management. The manager will be responsible for making sure the on-going auditing is completed in order to keep the division in compliance with 340B regulations and standards. The manager will work with the Division AVP of 340B Program, Division VP of Pharmacy Services, and the Division Director of Pharmacy Operations to implement processes to meet or exceed all regulatory standards.
**What you will do:**
+ Maintains knowledge and expertise on Section 340B rulings and related interpretations, including new and proposed regulations, current trends and issues. Assesses potential organizational impact of 340B changes and ensures 340B program is continuously compliant with federal regulations
+ Oversees all operational points of service related to 340B participation occurs to ensure policies and procedures are followed, entities qualify, and patients qualify as covered patients
+ Oversees utilization and 340B purchasing records to ensure software and/or tools are functioning properly
+ Oversees the 340B Analyst staff; ensuring SOP’s are developed, followed, and self-audits are completed on time, based on priorities and optimizing resources
+ Works with Division AVP of 340B to develop and/or update 340B policies and procedures whenever there is clarification to interpretation, or change in the rules, regulations, or guidelines to 340B requirements
+ Is the operational liaison between the vendors being utilized for 340B operations and compliance (includes drug suppliers, software vendors, and consultants). This includes the CSC 340B warehouse operations and the divisions 340B third party administrator(s) and Contract Pharmacy Providers.
+ Collaborates with the division AVP of 340B and pharmacy leadership to routinely review 340B formulary pricing, potential alternatives, and potential additional savings as a result of GPO formulary and 340B vendor program
+ Assists AVP-340B programs with overseeing contract pharmacy audits, compliance, and enhancement opportunities
+ Ensures 340B ESP submissions are submitted on time and in the format required to maintain compliance with manufacturer contract pharmacy restriction
+ Assists division AVP with developing and delivering 340B education, training, and on-going communication required for the 340B program
**What you will need:**
+ Bachelors of Science or Pharmacy Doctorate from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy required
+ Knowledgeable and proficient in the legal responsibilities of the pharmacist to the facility and all state and federal laws and regulations governing pharmacy services required
+ Three years acute care hospital, supervisory, or leadership experience preferred
+ Three years of 340B management, oversight or program exposure in an acute care hospital preferred
+ Licensed Pharmacist by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy required
