You will be working alongside the best and brightest in the business at a technically complex Pulpmill so if you’re up for a challenge, there’s really no need to look any further!
You’ll bring with you a solid mix of technical aptitude and industrial leadership experience and you're a certified Red Seal trade Electrician and/or Instrumentation Tech. You have a clear sense of accountability and are highly organized. You’ve managed trade functions, preferably in a union setting, and have a knack for meeting short-term maintenance goals along with keeping the longer-range challenges in focus.
A day in the life of an Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor includes:
Work closely with Maintenance, Production, Quality Control Leaders, and other personnel to continuously improve production, product quality, and recovery while maximizing margin Ensure that the established safety, quality, environmental, and maintenance objectives are met or exceeded on a consistent basis Provide leadership, guidance and promote open communication for all employees on their shift. Identify opportunities to reduce downtime and repair costs Train and educate employees, create work schedules and delegate responsibilities Document and schedule predictive, preventative and corrective equipment maintenance Ensure compliance with company safety and environmental regulations Prepare various reports for distribution to management Assist in the planning of down days and annual maintenance shuts Responsible for the electrical work execution in the assigned area Order parts and materials as needed Work in conjunction with other maintenance teams and technicians to reduce unscheduled downtime and resolve equipment problems Embrace and implement 5S methodologies in your assigned area Maintain high standards of work performance and correct behavior as required

The salary range for this position is: $98,000.00-$122,500.00
