Purpose:
Do you love technical troubleshooting and problem solving? If, so, this position is for you. This position combines technologist, operations analyst, ecommerce administrator, and bug detective. Using your technical knowledge, you will be responsible for investigating and determining the root causes of user reported issues on the website while working with the Ecommerce Team to determine the correct course of action for resolution. Additionally, this position will administer and operate the Commerce platform to maintain ongoing website security and stability. Additionally, this position will be working with the Snr Manager Ecommerce to implement initiatives that will optimize purchase performance.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business, Communications or related fields OR practical, real life equivalent experience3+ Website administration, support, and technical support experience2+ years experience that includes supporting website development and debugging, test programming, and other site development tasksFamiliarity and some hands-on practice with common website building languages, frameworks, platforms and libraries (HTML, CSS, SOAP, REST, JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, JQuery), Bootstrap, etc)Ability to clearly breakdown and communicate complex technical issues to Engineers, Developers, Business Stakeholders and Product OwnersA strong attention to detail and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentExcellent time management, organizational, and communication skillsPreferred Skills and Experience
Must be able to handle issues that arise with minimal oversight or guidelines and work under pressureUnderstanding and practical experience working with website networking (SSL Certs, DNS Records, CNAMES, A Records, etc.)Experience or familiarity with Demandware/Salesforce Commerce CloudExperience with website monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.Developer experience that includes common tasks such as debugging code, data and code replication, scheduling jobs, site configuration and catalog feeds.Essential Job Functions:
Communicate with users to understand their needs, expectations and experiencesProvide website issue replication, validation and troubleshooting of customer issues (including integrations to external systems)Coordinate with Product Owners, UX Specialists, Business Analyst and Architect to investigate and track to resolution.Perform analysis of alerts/errors in logs to determine impact, recommend steps to mitigate impact and work with the Delivery Team to determine best-fit resource for resolutionDebug code and assist developers with fixesDocument findings and root cause of all issues; resolve urgently or escalate to Senior Developers.Proactive monitoring of the various applications and systems; run health checks after every release.Administering SalesForce Commerce CloudManage Storefront Data and CodeManaging site’s client certificatesReports to Snr. Manager Ecommerce Program ManagerBecome a subject matter expert on the existing website technology stack, general integration data flow, and the underlying business rulesWork with Security team to stay up to date with required security changes.Working Conditions (travel & environment)
