About the Role  

In this opportunity as a Elections Data Researcher, you will be responsible to: 

Dig up info on office holders/candidates (socials, websites, contact details, start dates, etc.). Get party logos, colors, and abbreviations from political parties and pop them onto a webpage. Keep all the collected data fresh and current. Stay on top of big news events impacting officials in different countries. Team up with the Reuters bureau to share insights. 

About You 

You’re a fit for the role if your background includes:  

Degree in Journalism, Communications, International Relations, or a related field.  

Fluency in both Spanish and English is essential; proficiency in Portuguese is a strong plus.  

Ideally, 1-2 years of professional experience in journalism, research, data collection, or a similar media environment.  

Exceptional attention to detail and a meticulous approach to information.  

Proficiency with web monitoring tools (e.g., Google Alerts, advanced search techniques, social media monitoring) 

Strong collaborative skills with proven ability to work effectively in a team, including remote coordination with international colleagues.
