Electrical Commissioning Lead

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Lead to manage both the preparation and execution phases of electrical pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up (PCCSU) activities for a major decarbonisation infrastructure project.

Responsibilities:

Plan and prepare PCCSU electrical activities in line with schedule, quality, and budget. Coordinate with engineering to ensure commissioning requirements are integrated into design. Develop electrical commissioning strategies, procedures, and method statements. Define commissioning sequences and support electrical systemization. Prepare and review scopes for subcontractors; assess bids and participate in clarification meetings. Identify temporary power needs and vendor/subcontractor support requirements. Ensure commissioning test sheets cover all subsystem components. Support lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.

Site Responsibilities:

Supervise safe execution of electrical commissioning work. Manage electrical resources, subcontractors, and vendors. Perform isolation/de-isolation, walkdowns, and validate construction completion. Utilize completion software to manage commissioning check sheets. Provide technical troubleshooting and support throughout execution. Maintain commissioning spares and support documentation.

Requirements:

Strong experience in LV/HV commissioning, start-up of turbines and plant machinery. Leadership and team coordination experience. Excellent communication and mentoring skills. UK residency and ability to travel to Paris Proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam, 3D models; knowledge of ICAPS, Easyplant, or HYSYS is a plus.
