Electrical Engineer
Job Title: Electrical Engineer Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with expertise in computer programming for process control, control systems, and power distribution. The ideal candidate will possess strong human relations skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of plant supervision, personnel, external contractors, and vendors. Responsibilities + Communicate regularly with the Plant Engineer on significant maintenance functions. + Assist in initiating plans for the improvement and expansion of production and plant facilities. + Coordinate and schedule engineering and maintenance activities. + Work closely with other departments to determine electrical or process control needs for all plant facilities. + Prepare cost estimates and authorization requests for management evaluation. + Maintain frequent contact with purchasing and storeroom to ensure the availability of critical parts and materials. + Support departmental and company goals to achieve high levels of safety, quality, housekeeping, and environmental standards. + Conduct project engineering and project management utilizing recent methodologies. + Maintain control of expenditures on projects to stay within budget. + Continue personal growth and development in human relations and technical achievement. Essential Skills + Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. + 6+ years of experience in a related role. + Proficiency in electrical design and troubleshooting. + Strong project management skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Experience with control systems and power distribution. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr. You will be eligible for a broad array of employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a defined contribution retirement (401k) plan, paid holidays, etc. Vitro's full benefit program will be reviewed with you in detail during your initial orientation. You will be a participant in the 2024 Vitro Cash Incentive Plan. On an annual basis, your package will have a target cash incentive of one month of your compensation. Payout will be based on achieving corporate, business unit and strategic targets mutually agreed upon and approved by Vitro, and pro-rated for your time in position. The Plan seeks to compensate senior leaders who can have a profound, positive effect on the Company’s strategic, market and financial performance, and provides significant upside potential in incentive earnings if performance exceeds expectations.
