Electrical Engineer
Job Title: Quality Engineer - Electrical Engineer Job Description As an Electrical Engineer, you will interface with customers and provide statistics on reliability performance, analyzing both internal and external performance data for failure trends. You will conduct corrective and preventative analysis activities based on gathered data, ensuring quality in the design and production of state-of-the-art products. Responsibilities + Identify and facilitate the corrective action process, including coordinating investigations, implementing activities, and auditing for effectiveness. + Analyze data to identify trends in product quality defects and prevent recurrence and future defects. + Identify and raise quality issues, resolving them swiftly to ensure zero impact on the customer. + Coordinate and prepare reliability performance output and review it with the customer. + Review customer requirements for applicability and participate in project launches and program reviews. + Review, analyze, and assess life cycle data through periodic sampling. + Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions. + Coordinate teams to review, create, release, and maintain corrective action and continuous improvement activities. + Facilitate and coordinate process improvement for Quality Management Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Essential Skills + Proficiency in root cause analysis and quality management systems. + Ability to identify and facilitate the corrective action process. + Experience in analyzing data to identify trends in product quality defects. + Capability to coordinate and prepare reliability performance output. + ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE). + Statistical process control and quality engineering expertise. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution. + Minimum of two years of quality assurance experience. + Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. + Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. + Knowledge of quality tools for root cause, corrective action, and continuous improvement analysis. Work Environment The role involves working with advanced technologies and equipment. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and includes regular reviews and audits of processes to ensure continuous improvement. The work environment is dynamic, with a focus on quality and reliability performance. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
