Job Description
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to assist in the design, assembly, and testing of autonomous vehicles and auxiliary equipment within a portfolio of autonomous maritime products for defense, marine research, and commercial applications.
+ Research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
+ Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
+ Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of electrical system requirements into optimized methods for assembly, testing, and maintenance.
+ Support the development of automated test fixtures.
+ Develop and maintain accurate documentation.
+ Perform other electrical engineering duties as assigned.
JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Proficiency in electrical engineering and electrical design.
+ Experience in R&D, quality inspection, and quality control.
+ Ability to use calipers and micrometers for visual inspections.
+ Experience with blueprint analysis.
+ Extensive experience working in multi-disciplinary product development teams.
+ Experience in architecting platform electrical and power systems.
+ Experience in designing, simulating, prototyping, testing, production, and maintenance of production-mature circuit card assemblies.
+ Familiarity with systems that include hardware and software components developed for DoD, academic, or commercial use.
+ Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
+ 9 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 7 years with a Master's degree; or 4 years with a PhD or Juris Doctorate in a related field.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
