Senior:

 Estimated annual base pay:  $98,400.00 (minimum) - $123,00000 (midpoint) - $147,600.00 (maximum)

Staff:

 Estimated annual base pay:  $125,600.00 (minimum) - $141,300.00 (midpoint) - $188,400.00 (maximum)

All members included in annual cash bonus opportunity

Both the Senior Engineer and Staff Engineer, Electrical, report to the Engineering Leader and are integral to engineering tasks and strategic initiatives.

The Senior Engineer Independently evaluates, selects, and adapts standard engineering techniques. Operates under moderate to low supervision, seeking guidance for novel issues and engages in relationship building with customers and suppliers as needed.

The Staff Engineer Provides product design, mentoring, and participates in process improvements and strategic planning. Works with minimal supervision and high independence. Maintains extensive industry and customer contact, and evaluates new opportunities within the Product Life Cycle (PLC) process.

What you will be doing…

Senior:

Plans, schedules, and coordinates project phases.

Develops new problem-solving approaches.

Promotes process improvements.

Handles complex engineering tasks with conflicting requirements.

Supports sales, manufacturing, and development via proposals and design reviews.

Troubleshoots and tests components/systems independently.

Guides junior engineers and technicians.

Manages documentation and design complexity.

Participates in international and multi-site projects.

Staff:

Plans, schedules, and coordinates detailed phases of major or moderately scoped projects.

Conducts complex or novel research, developing new techniques and procedures.

Promotes and implements company-wide process improvements and may write design guidelines.

Engages in conventional engineering with complex features like conflicting design requirements.

Supports sales, manufacturing, purchasing, and development through major proposals and design reviews.

Independently troubleshoots and analyzes system problems, and writes/performs complex component tests.

Sets technical direction and provides problem-solving guidance to junior engineers and technicians.

Ensures designs meet criteria for manufacturability, testability, and reliability.

Designs, supports, and tests moderate to high complexity hardware boards and systems.

May serve as the Technical Lead for international and multi-site projects.

What we are looking for…

Senior:

US – Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Engineering required

Greater than 4 years in related field or entry level PhD required

 Staff:

US – Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Engineering required

Greater than 8years in related field required, including post-graduate experience required
