Grow with us, H2O+U. **Your Opportunity** We are currently seeking a Project EIT – Electrica/I&C to join the team in our Burnaby, BC office. The successful candidate must be available to work at a site office 5 days per week, located in North Vancouver. **Your Key Responsibilities** + Member of the Owner’s construction management team for a large and complex multi-year project + Reports to the Senior Engineer - Process Mechanical and Electrical/Instrumentation + Reviews Contractor RFI’s and coordinates with the Engineer-of-Record to address technical issues + Collaborates with the Owner’s Engineer to resolve technical discussions between the Contractor and EOR. + Supports the CM team with non-compliance reporting and general construction oversight **Qualifications** **Your Capabilities and Credentials** + Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical design, construction, commissioning or operation. + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve construction issues. + Working knowledge of process safety, risk assessment and compliance with regulatory standards. + Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. + Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. + Experience with process automation and control systems. + Knowledge of automation and control systems, such as SCADA and PLC. **Education and Credentials** + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation, Industrial, Mechatronic, or similar engineering. + Registered Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with EGBC or equivalent or immediate ability for EIT registration. _This description is not a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that may be required of the employee and other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or may be changed at any time with or without notice._ Stantec is a place where the best and brightest come to build on each other’s’ talents, do exciting work, and make an impact on the world around us.
