In this role you will get to monitor the construction activities related to electrical works of the project **What You'll Be Doing:** + Conducts inspections to determine if work has been done in accordance with contract specifications. + Installation of electrical equipment related to traffic signals, ramp metering, and street lighting + Inspects electrical installations to ensure proper grounding, circuit integrity, and adherence to statutory and customer regulations. + Provides general inspection on all construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship. + Participates in the development of job safety practices and in the preparation of safety reports. + Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. + Captures project photographs on a daily basis; file/organize + Maintains office files related to the project, quantity calculations, and writes daily diaries + Prepares daily reports and other documentation, as required by the contract. + Verifies only approved materials are incorporated in the work. + Performs labor compliance interviews and maintains as-built plans. **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + Bachelor Degree in Electrical engineering or equivalent from an accredited university. + Minimum 8 years of construction work experience related to Electrical inspection. + Good written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project team. + Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications and be thoroughly familiar with construction related processes related to area of assignment.
