Electromechanical Technician
**Job Title: Electromechanical Technician** **Pay:** $35 to $50 **Shift:** Mon to Fri 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM **Job Description** As an Electromechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for the rework of fine SMD components, organizing and cleaning the lab, wiring panels, and managing inventory orders. Over the long term, you will engage in basic test duties, including debugging and running test procedures using multimeters, and recording results. **Responsibilities** + Perform electrical testing, debugging, and validation of engineering prototypes and production units for power conversion and control systems. + Build and wire electrical panels, test fixtures, and cable assemblies based on engineering drawings and schematics. + Execute and improve test procedures for analog and digital circuit boards. + Conduct SMD rework, including 0402 passive components and BGA-style parts. + Operate high voltage (>1kV) and high power (>10kW) test equipment safely and effectively. + Use microprocessor and FPGA programmers to test and validate embedded systems. + Debug analog and digital hardware using tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and signal generators. + Utilize engineering software for programming, testing, and debugging hardware and firmware components. + Generate detailed test documentation and reports, highlighting findings and potential issues. + Maintain and manage a high-voltage lab environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed. + Collaborate closely with electrical, mechanical, and firmware engineers to ensure successful product development and release. + Support continuous improvement of test methodologies, tools, and processes. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in electromechanical assembly, including SMD and SMT techniques. + Experience in electrical mechanical build and cable assembly. + Ability to use micrometer and other measurement tools. + Familiarity with high voltage equipment, up to 2kV. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong debugging skills, capable of identifying and fixing issues without direction. + Experience in electrical assembly and micrometer usage. + Knowledge of engineering software for programming, testing, and debugging. **Why Work Here?** Join a nationally recognized top company with a promising room for advancement.
