**Description** **Specialization:** Emergency Medical Services **Job Summary:** HCA Skyline Medical Center is seeking an EMS Director for our Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Program. **Qualified Candidates:** + • Program Leadership: Support and assist in the oversight of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) program, collaborating with two other EMS physicians to serve as a liaison between the department and EMS agencies. + • Education and Outreach: Provide education and training to EMS personnel, residents, and medical students through lectures, simulation, and field experiences. + • Support long term efforts to develop an EMS fellowship + • Medical Direction: Offer clinical oversight, protocol development, and quality assurance for EMS operations. + • Operational Support: Collaborate with EMS agencies to ensure optimal pre-hospital patient care and seamless integration with the Emergency Department. + • Research and Advocacy: Support EMS-related research projects and advocate for advancements in pre-hospital care. + • Disaster Preparedness: Participate in disaster planning and response initiatives in coordination with local and regional EMS agencies. **About TriStar Skyline Medical Center:** + 286-bed hospital + Dedicated 17-bed neuro ICU, 34-beds stroke; 4-bed EMU + EEG and EMG on site + Tennessee’s first comprehensive stroke center and a national leader in neuroscience + As an ACS Verified Level I Trauma Center and an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI, TriStar Skyline is a leading provider of emergency care with over 3,700 ED visits per month. + Offering programs including heart and vascular, oncology, orthopaedics/spine, and CARF accredited rehabilitation.
